Lock 21

Lock 21 is part of the Old Erie Canal Towpath Trail and it is also a component of the active New York State Barge Canal. The trail passes directly over the lock via footbridge, allowing for spectacularly interesting views of this working lock. Ample parking is available here, and there are also picnic tables and public restrooms.
